This celebration is in conjunction with the Malaysia Day 2014. This
marks the unification of Sabah and Sarawak into the Federation of Malaya
back in 1963. In this ceremony, the
IIUM SUKSIS Silent Drill Team has been chosen to perform in Drill
formation and Drama sketches. The Drama sketches is done by "The Royals"
unit. The Royals unit superbly perform a peaceful village under attack
by the Japanese Soldiers during the World War II and the Security Forces
victoriously fought back the occupation. The sequence ends with the
formation of the National Statue by the Unit members. The ceremony is
officiated by the IIUM Deputy Rector of Students Affairs, Datuk Dr.
