This performance is the prelude to what
the team unofficially done during the University Sports Carnival in 2009. The
performance features new breed of Silent Drillers in wide open arena. The
performance is the first time the solo phase is done outside of the sequence
line. The performance also features ever before performed two lines sequence.
The performance used the M-16 A1 Assault Rifle as its primary drill rifle apart
from the regular Lee Enfield Mark V Rifle. This is to give the performance
extra sound effect due to the fact that the performing arena is covered in
grass. This extra effect gives coordination to the drill members to perform.
The event is officiated by the Dean of Students Affairs & Development
Division, Dr. Akmal Khuzairy that also served as the Deputy Commandant of IIUM
SUKSIS.
